Business Analyst | Hybrid | Chicago, IL | Contract to Hire Walker Healthforce is seeking a Business Analyst with to support a healthcare client based out of Chicago, IL. This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. RATE RANGE: $41 - $43 START DATE: June 16, 2025 HOURS/SCHEDULE: M-F; 8AM - 5PM CST WORKER TYPE: Full-Time CORE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries to extract and validate data from the database.
Proficient in creating and executing SQL queries in Oracle, SAS, and/or Teradata, or other reporting tools/languages for reporting purposes.
Strong proficiency with tools/languages in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) quality measures and code value sets.
Experience in analyzing and cleansing raw data, with strong working knowledge of programming and various applications of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load, reporting, and data mining.
Familiarity with HIX (Health Insurance Exchange), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), and EHR (Electronic Health Record) types of data collection.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to support partner relationships between health plans and the provider/vendor community.
Demonstrated initiative in self-learning with independent troubleshooting, issue identification, and solutioning skills.
Ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements for the IT organization
Serving as a liaison across multiple facets of the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Leveraging informed knowledge of business areas to identify and/or resolve problems on an ongoing basis.
