Role description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in business process reengineering, technology-driven solutions, and data analysis. The Business Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs, formulating solutions that align with organizational strategies, and ensuring that technology initiatives effectively support business objectives. This role requires a seasoned professional who can independently perform complex tasks, collaborate across functional teams, and serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, processes, and user requirements to develop comprehensive business and functional specifications.
β’ Formulate and recommend system solutions that align with overall business strategies and technology standards.
β’ Conduct business process reengineering and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and technology enablement.
β’ Develop solution options, perform risk assessments, and prepare financial analyses including cost-benefit, ROI, and build-versus-buy evaluations.
β’ Collaborate with architecture, project delivery, and application support teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs.
β’ Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, document functional and non-functional requirements, and validate proposed solutions with end users.
β’ Participate in software development reviews, unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure deliverables meet quality expectations.
β’ Create detailed documentation including user needs, program functions, process maps, and data flow diagrams.
β’ Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear communication, project alignment, and timely issue resolution.
β’ Support change management, training, and implementation planning for new systems or enhancements.
Work Hours & Location:
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite
