Responsibilities
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst I in Boca Raton, FL. Duties:
β’ Works closely with the Value Management Office (VMO) Associate Director and the Product Owners to assist with defining project management and agile practices across the organization
β’ Works with a defined team to ensure work is prioritized and completed on time
β’ Interfaces between the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and university functional areas
β’ Defines, refines, and follows established Product Owner and Business Analyst practices
β’ Collects and breaks down requests into manageable stories for Sprints or Kanban assignments
β’ Keeps all stakeholders engaged and current of requests; Manages changes in priorities, scope, and requirements
β’ Works with business areas and OIT to gather requirements for various integrations, implementations and changes to current applications
β’ Assists with testing for deployments or the coordination of testing
β’ Leads interactions with functional leaders, end users, vendors, management, and developers with the purpose of gaining a shared understanding of requirements, expectations, and status of projects
β’ Works independently on mission critical, complex, university level, cross unit/division projects
β’ Works with multiple functional areas' business processes and their data
β’ Supervises, coordinates, prioritizes, and reviews the work of others
β’ Works with agile work tools such as: Azure Dev/Ops, Jira, etc.
β’ Works with project management tools such as: Microsoft Project, Team Dynamix, Smartsheet, etc.
β’ Works with various products and services, learning their functionality and many times providing light administration as needed
β’ Investigates and resolves support tickets for production issues when these are escalated
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
β’ 3+ years of relevant technical or business work experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
