Business Analyst II - Knowledge Base Migration Specialist Location: Juno Beach, FL Duration: 6-Month Contract Pay Range: $29-$34/hour Position Overview We are seeking a Business Analyst (Knowledge Base Migration Specialist) to support the hands-on migration of an enterprise knowledge base from a legacy platform to Confluence Cloud and/or SharePoint Online. This is a tactical, execution-focused role requiring strong technical expertise to ensure content, structure, and functionality transition smoothly. The consultant will work closely with a Change & Knowledge Management Lead who owns the overall migration strategy and design, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to execute and complete the migration successfully. Key Responsibilities • Execute knowledge base migration from a legacy platform to Confluence Cloud and/or SharePoint Online • Ensure content integrity, formatting accuracy, and functional parity during migration • Convert platform-specific elements (macros, custom HTML, widgets) into cloud-compatible or native solutions • Design, build, and refine reusable page templates aligned with usability and branding standards • Optimize page layouts, navigation, and information architecture for improved user experience • Test migrated content and configurations prior to production deployment • Implement out-of-the-box platform features to replace or enhance existing functionality • Apply UX and design best practices to create intuitive, visually compelling knowledge pages • Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks, track progress, and resolve issues • Document migration processes, configurations, and template standards for long-term maintenance Required Skills & Experience Platform Expertise (must have at least one): • Confluence • Experience with Confluence Server and Confluence Cloud • Strong knowledge of macros and platform limitations/capabilities • SharePoint • Experience with SharePoint Online • Proficiency with pages, web parts, lists, libraries, and site design Core Technical & Functional Skills: • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for custom formatting and layout • Experience creating and managing page templates for consistent branding • Strong visual design and user experience (UX) sensibility • Proven problem-solving skills to address migration challenges • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with both Confluence Cloud and SharePoint Online • Familiarity with platform migration tools and best practices • Understanding of out-of-the-box functionality vs. plugins/add-ins • Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles ...
