Title: Business Analyst (II)
Location: Remote, with possibility of going into the Austin office occasionally
Working Schedule/Hours: 8-5, M-F
Term: 6 months with possibility of extension
Job Description:
Must have: Experience on Writing SQL scripts, SQL queries, Relational database, GCP (Google Cloud platform), Big Query, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.

• Your daily role involves writing SQL queries to extract data, managing program records in Salesforce, and visualizing project status via GIS tools.
• You possess an understanding of relational databases, geospatial analysis, and program lifecycle management to be successful in the role.
• Analyze complex operational datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for program efficiency improvements.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and present findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity across internal databases and third-party systems.
• Support SFU Greenfield team for custom market support needs depending on what local leadership priorities are.

As a Business Analyst, you assist in the application of data driven insights to have an impact on business performance through business case development and business and industry trend analysis. As you work within one or more teams, you address conflicts between the goals and objectives of the stakeholders by understanding the nature of the problem and its underlying assumptions. You have the ability to research and effectively communicate business results and related findings to leadership by preparing presentations and identifying key takeaways.
Responsibilities include:
• Execute tasks for implementing various internal and external integrations between business objectives and designing and building strategies that support these business systems.
• Conduct and review data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence business decision-making.
• Help drive the development of company-wide opportunities such as evaluating new market and product opportunities to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Execute tasks for general support and analyses to leaders for ad-hoc data requests.
• Conduct strategic analysis, identifying, evaluating, and recommending ways to optimize business performance and deliver best-in-class execution within relevant PA, function, or sub-function with minimal guidance.
