Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI development, data analysis, and stakeholder facilitation and a proven ability to translate business needs into functional designs, deliver executive dashboards, and drive risk-based decisions.
Responsibilities:
β’ Evaluate the current Power BI environment and rebuild reports and dashboards to reduce complexity and remove unused data sources.
β’ Engage line-of-business stakeholders to elicit requirements, decompose them into clear functional specifications, and complete functional designs.
β’ Collaborate with technical team members to communicate requirements and support creation of technical designs.
β’ Conduct research and development on banking industry trends, data engineering and architecture, and data security topics.
β’ Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms and related integrations.
β’ Plan and execute internal projects, including legacy system replacement, monitoring and analytics improvements, tool development, and technical documentation.
β’ Offer guidance and mentoring to team members and promote best practices.
β’ Manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines.
β’ Organize project information, track progress, and proactively identify and resolve blockers and issues.
β’ Evaluate tool capabilities and compatibility with MFA and PAM solutions to support IAM strategy.
β’ Facilitate risk-based discussions with stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
β’ Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for executive reporting and performance tracking.
β’ Assist in defining project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
β’ Build and maintain a pipeline of future IAM-related work to support long-term security objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Hands-on Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
β’ Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor content to business, management, and technical audiences.
β’ Meeting facilitation skills, including driving discussions and capturing decisions and action items.
β’ Familiarity with SDLC, release management, and assisting in project management tasks.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business or technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Financial services or financial crimes domain knowledge.
β’ Familiarity with Single Sign-On and IAM concepts and technologies, including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and MFA.
