Role description
Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a hospital/healthcare company located in Hershey, PA through a 4-month contract position (with strong possibility of extending). The Business Analyst will focus primarily on keeping up to date with procedures and policies to guarantee documents fulfilling the required standards for the IT Disaster Recovery Program. This role is HYBRID, but primarily REMOTE, with one onsite day required per month. Responsibilities of the Business Analyst include: β€’ Conduct hands-on business analysis to support IT resilience and disaster recovery initiatives, including leading and facilitating business impact analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments β€’ Collaborate closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, and security stakeholders to gather requirements, confirm impact assessments, and ensure timely and accurate completion of analysis activities β€’ Contribute to program governance by preparing meeting materials, documenting decisions and action items, and coordinating follow-ups with key stakeholders β€’ Maintain and enhance IT policies, procedures, and related documentation to align with regulatory, audit, and operational standards β€’ Monitor milestones, deliverables, and key performance metrics across multiple workstreams, providing consistent status updates to program leadership β€’ Produce clear, concise documentation and reports that translate technical concepts into meaningful business insights for diverse audiences Qualification for the Business Analyst include: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field β€’ 3–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting enterprise-wide or cross-functional technology initiatives; experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred β€’ Strong understanding of core IT domainsβ€”including applications, infrastructure, data, and securityβ€”and how technology enables and supports business operations β€’ Familiarity with governance, risk, compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, disaster recovery, or business continuity programs is considered an asset β€’ Proven ability to manage assigned responsibilities independently while partnering with senior team members on larger strategic initiatives β€’ Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders Compensation for the Business Analyst includes: β€’ Pay Rate: up to $55/hour based on experience β€’ Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 02/11/2026.
