Role description
Position Title: Business Analyst
Location: Austin, TX
Position Status: Contract
Position Description: We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Business Process Analyst to support and enhance our Return Materials Authorization (RMA) processes within a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role bridges the gap between the RMA operations team, customer support, and IT, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of SAP and Salesforce platforms to support reverse logistics, warranty returns, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze and document RMA workflows specific to semiconductor product returns
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Customer Operations, Logistics, and IT to improve RMA processes
β’ Act as the functional SME for RMA-related processes in SAP, Salesforce, and other internal systems
β’ Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for system enhancements and integrations
β’ Execute configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP, Salesforce, and other internal system updates related to RMA
β’ Provide training and documentation to end-users and stakeholders on RMA tools and processes
Required Skills/Education:
Education & Experience:
β’ Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Information Systems
β’ 3-5 years of experience in business process analysis or operations support, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry
β’ Experience with Supply Chain, preferably RMA, reverse logistics, and warranty management
Required Qualifications:
β’ Strong working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce
β’ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
β’ Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
β’ Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point
β’ Experience working with global teams and multi-site operations
