Business Analyst III (Contract)
Location: Pomona, CA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12-month W2 contract
Pay Rate: $30–$35/hour (W2)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst III to support data analysis, compliance-related initiatives, and operational process improvements within a large enterprise environment. This role is highly data-focused and ideal for candidates who enjoy working with large datasets, identifying discrepancies, and supporting reporting and migration efforts across multiple business areas.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Validation
• Perform detailed analysis on large datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues
• Support data cleanup and validation efforts
Operational & Program Support
• Assist with the migration of business units into a centralized operational oversight program
• Identify and assess business needs during migration activities
• Develop and assign provisioning/job templates
• Verify all changes are completed accurately and within established timelines
Reporting & Trend Analysis
• Review program-related data (including compliance and training data)
• Identify trends, gaps, and insights
• Support senior team members with reporting and presentations for leadership and vendors
Stakeholder Communication
• Communicate effectively with internal teams via email, Teams, phone, and in-person meetings
• Provide strong customer service with a focus on user experience
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong advanced Microsoft Excel skills (experience with large datasets and complex attributes)
• Proven experience performing detailed data analysis
• Ability to identify, document, and resolve data discrepancies
• Strong communication skills across multiple platforms
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-service oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in enterprise, operations, compliance, or governance-focused environments
• Exposure to workforce, vendor, or contractor-related data
• Experience supporting audits, reporting, or training/compliance programs
Work Environment
• Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite per week in Pomona, CA
