Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (5+ years) to join our growing team in a fully remote US-based role. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and delivering data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement sessions. • Translate business needs into clear, concise functional specifications. • Create BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and data mapping documents. • Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Project Managers. • Perform gap analysis and impact analysis for new initiatives. • Support UAT planning, execution, and validation. • Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making. • Ensure solutions align with compliance and regulatory standards (if applicable). • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field. • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies. • Experience creating BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, and workflow diagrams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with tools like: • JIRA / Confluence • MS Visio / Lucidchart • SQL (basic querying preferred) • Excel / Power BI / Tableau (preferred) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Skills • Experience in Financial Services / Healthcare / IT domains. • Experience with data analysis and reporting. • Knowledge of API integrations and system interfaces. • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA (nice to have).
