Role description
Rapha launched in 2004 to redefine cycling apparel. Today progressive design and storytelling has built a global movement.
We love cycling in all its forms, from the city streets to the highest peaks. And we know its power to transform lives. Led by innovation, we embody this love through a dedication to the world's greatest sport, by setting a new standard in design and pushing the cutting edge of performance and human craft.
The Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst (BA) on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our Technology team and help bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and key stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, capture requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions that deliver value.
This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to bring clarity and alignment to complex initiatives. You will be responsible for driving the discovery process, documenting requirements, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-centric digital products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product features and system improvements
Facilitate workshops, and other discovery activities with stakeholders and subject matter experts
Support prioritisation and planning by helping Product Managers evaluate effort, impact, and dependencies
Maintain up-to-date documentation of business processes, user journeys, and data flows
Identify risks, gaps, or edge cases early in the process and support teams in addressing them
Assist in testing and validating product features to ensure alignment with business requirements
Continuously seek ways to improve processes, reduce ambiguity, and increase delivery efficiency
Act as the key point of contact for business stakeholders during delivery, ensuring smooth communication and alignment
Experience
3–5 years experience working as a Business Analyst in a digital product or technology environment
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Demonstrated ability to gather and translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, FigJam, and similar
Comfort working with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and business users
A data-driven mindset with the ability to support decision-making with insights and evidence
Experience in eCommerce, retail, or subscription-based businesses
Familiarity with APIs, database structures, and basic system architecture
Working knowledge of product discovery techniques and frameworks
Exposure to user experience (UX) principles and customer journey mapping
Experience with tools like Postman, or SQL for analysis and testing
