Business Analyst

Title: Business Analyst Location: (Remote 100%) Duration: 1 Year Payrate: $55/hr - $65/hr on w2 Job Overview Description: Job Description: • The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be a member of Decision Support Services Team at FPG. • The BSA acts as liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, define and document requirements for solving business challenges using technology. • Effectively works with business stakeholders to capture functional and technical requirements with the understanding of the IT landscape in order to produce • Software requirement specifications and integration transformation and translation mappings in a variety of formats, including but not limited to: Business Process and/or Data Flow Models, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Requirements traceability matrix and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, as required. • As needed, conducts testing according to requirements and provides analytics support and provides deep validation for deliverables of technical products or initiatives from development team. • The BSA develops system(s) training documentation and user guides as needed. • Explain gaps and technical concepts for non-technical audiences. • Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our customers. • The BSA must achieve in-depth knowledge of relevant software applications as well as understand policies, procedures and constraints. Required Experience: • 5+ years health care IT experience in Managed Care Reporting or related field - Required • Strong SQL Programming Skills (MS SQL Server/Azure platforms) - required • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with general direction • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements Ability to establish and achieve goals and maintain time lines • Problem-solving abilities with an understanding of statistical methods • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures and reporting - Required • Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems and culture in the healthcare environment - Required • Strong analytical, problem-solving and metadata skills • Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects Required: Epic Tapestry cert Preferred Experience: • Ability to program using SAS, R, Python, or Stata for data management and analysis.
