Business Analyst

Title: Business Analyst Overview We are seeking a data-focused Business Analyst to work with cross-functional teams to evaluate, optimize, and implement business processes and systems. This role combines traditional business analysis with heavy data analysis, supporting organizational efficiency, scalability, and value creation. Candidates with titles such as Data Analyst or BI Analyst are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Lead the review, analysis, and evaluation of business systems to ensure alignment with strategic frameworks. • Develop and refine business processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and measurable value. • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and implement best practices using industry-standard methodologies. • Support data governance initiatives, defining policies and practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for onboarding data into modern data platforms. Required Qualifications • 4–5 years of experience in a business analysis, data analysis, or BI role. • Proven ability to design and develop business process frameworks, including workflows, models, and governance structures. • Familiarity with business process mapping tools and methodologies. • Hands-on experience in business process development/reengineering and identifying opportunities for technology-enabled improvements. • Strong data analysis skills and ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders. • Comfortable working on-site 2–3 days per week. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Databricks). • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics tools. • Understanding of data governance principles, including quality, stewardship, and compliance. • Experience in utility, energy, or infrastructure industries is a plus.
