Business Analyst

Our client are one of the biggest property investment and management businesses in UK, with a multi-billion portfolio across both commercial and residential estates. They have recently completed a company wide transformation programme involving the replacement of their core internal platform. This hire will provide support for phase two of that transformation. The successful Business Analyst hired will need extensive experience in driving output. You will be working between business stakeholders and the software / delivery team therefore a background of software delivery and a strong understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) would be required. SaaS experience would be a plus. This is a: • 7-month contract role (+ strong chance of extension) • hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office in Central London). • daily rate: negotiable (outside IR35) Your main responsibilities would be: • Engage with the wider team to review current systems, integrations, business processes and data sources. • Discussing requirements with internal business stakeholders. • Mediate between subject matter experts and applications developers, acting as a bridge between business challenges and technology solutions • Run workshops to gather and document requirements, including the creation of User Stories for the development team. Ideal background: • 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role with a proven track record of success in delivering systems implementation and process change projects. • Ability to map systems, understand data flows to produce strong and clear recommendations and documentation. • Excellent knowledge of Agile system development tools, particularly Azure DevOps.
