Role description
Position: Business Analyst
Location: HYBRID, 3 days onsite in Mason (Monday and Friday remote)
Duration: 3-month contract (with possible extensions)
Start: 2/9/2026
Project Scope: Support EMIT batch integration RTB workstream
Must Haves:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related discipline and/or commensurate experience
β’ 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
β’ Experience communicating by phone and face-to-face with customers collecting requirements and implementation details, implementing solutions, and providing technical support
β’ Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, visual designs, mockups, and testing.
β’ Clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services which support applications and users in the organization.
β’ Experience with databases, ability to create, execute, and understand SQL queries to assist in data research.
Plusses:
β’ Experience with ETL tools.
β’ Healthcare and/or Insurance experience
Day to Day:
A large vision insurance company is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support our Informatica workstream. The resource will be responsible for:
β’ Business requirements gathering process by responsibly collecting, analyzing, reviewing, documenting, and communicating business needs to ensure the proposed solutions meet business requirements.
β’ Tests system changes/enhancements related to assigned processes to ensure changes satisfy business requirements with no negative impact.
β’ Collaborates with stakeholder teams to identify user requirements and recommend solution options.
β’ Documents work, including change requests and functional specifications, end user documentation, release notes, etc.
β’ Facilitates meetings/task groups, tracks and influences task progress and tracks deliverables in order to effectively resolve customer and vendor issues.
