Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global's healthcare customer is hiring three BA's to join their Clinical Insurance Technology space. As a Senior Business Analyst, candidates will serve as the lead project facilitator across multiple scrum teams, driving consistency and alignment in departmental initiatives. Their primary focus is on clinical domain projects and applications, particularly those related to Utilization Management (UM) and Care Management (CM). They will oversee the migration of memberships to new platforms, manage evolving business needs, and guide application enhancements while ensuring operational efficiencies remain intact. Collaborating closely with architects, developers, and QA teams, they are accountable for the full project lifecycle—from concept and business requirements through design sign-off, user acceptance testing, and final implementation. Candidates will actively participate in Safe Agile practices, including PI planning and daily scrum ceremonies, and use tools like Rally to manage workstreams. The role demands strong analytical skills, including database interpretation and query writing, as well as the ability to document business rules using InRule and PL/SQL. Candidates will lead stakeholder meetings, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain high-quality documentation to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the organization. This role is fully remote. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst - Ability write and interpret SQL query language - Experience with databases as well interpretation and manipulation of related data. - Ability to understand the business requirements, understanding clinical business UM (Utilization management) & CM (Care Management) functions for Lines of business NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Overall understanding of architecture, infrastructure and technology stack (APIC, IIB, DB2, .Net, microservices, SQL, SPLUNK, Dynatrace) - Agile framework and using Rally - Experience with healthcare insurance correspondence and letter/template building
