Business Execution Consultant 2 – Automation Analyst (Alteryx) Hybrid – Charlotte, NC (Uptown) 9-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week) Desired Start Date: ASAP Calculated Hire is in search of a Business Execution Consultant 2 – Automation Analyst to support a large-scale automation initiative within a leading enterprise financial services organization. This role sits within a structured Citizen Developer Program focused on improving internal processes through automation and governance workflows. Job Description • Support the review, validation, and deployment of automation workflows using Alteryx within a structured governance framework • Work with existing automation solutions and submitted workflows to ensure accuracy, logical integrity, and alignment with production standards • Make updates, adjustments, and enhancements to workflows to ensure they are production-ready • Execute defined governance processes, including documentation, validation steps, and checklist-driven approvals • Partner with internal teams and SMEs to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure workflows meet business needs • Identify errors or inconsistencies in workflows and proactively raise questions or concerns to ensure quality outcomes • Help move automation initiatives forward through the full lifecycle from review to production deployment • Contribute to ongoing process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline or enhance existing workflows Required Skills • Hands-on experience with Alteryx, including building, modifying, or troubleshooting workflows • Strong understanding of data transformation concepts such as joins, filters, formulas, and data blending • Ability to interpret business logic and translate it into accurate workflow outputs • Experience working in structured environments with defined processes, checklists, or governance standards • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment Required Qualifications • 2-5+ years of experience in automation, data analysis, or process improvement roles • Experience working with tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Excel, or similar data/automation platforms • Demonstrated ability to review, validate, or improve workflows, reports, or processes • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve data or logic issues • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications • Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments • Exposure to governance, workflow approval processes, or production deployment frameworks • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms Team / Organization This role supports a centralized automation program within a large enterprise environment, focused on scaling process improvement through structured, sustainable automation solutions.
