Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC 28217 - fully onsite
Duration: 6 month contract with potential permanent conversion
Pay Range: $50-$54/hr
Must Haves:
β’ 7+ years of experience working within business analysis
β’ Experience focusing on data and Business Intelligence and Data Engineering projects
β’ Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
β’ Strong experience working with SQL
β’ Experience with data modeling, and BI tools such as Power BI for visualizations
β’ Experience with source-to-target mapping and data integration projects
β’ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
β’ Detail-oriented with substantial documentation and organizational skills.
β’ Passion for designing user-friendly interfaces that enhance data accessibility
β’ Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
Day-to-Day:
One of our large retail clients is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. This individual will oversee the requirements, design, testing and delivery of data-related solutions. This role is part of the clientβs Global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence team and drives actionable insights, enhances stakeholder engagement, and fosters a collaborative, high-performing team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Data and Business Intelligence and significant experience liaising between Engineering team members and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities are shown below:
β’ Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
β’ Create source to target mapping for data integration projects.
β’ Develop mock-ups and prototypes to visualize solutions.
β’ Verify and validate developed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
β’ Facilitate hand-off of solutions to business users and provide necessary training and support.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, addressing challenges, clarifying expectations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
β’ Ensure solutions align with project priorities, quality standards, and business needs.
β’ Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
