β’ Acts as liaison between business divisions and technology teams

Qualifications
β’ 8 years β Scrum, BA, or PMO experience
β’ 5 years β Agile
β’ 4 years β Salesforce (Public Sector Solutions, Government Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud β at least one required)
β’ 3 years β Building grant management systems using Salesforce
β’ 1 year β Salesforce Certified Business Analyst (include cert number)
β’ 1 year β Salesforce Administrator (include cert number)
The Business Analyst, Level 3Β will work with business stakeholders with varying levels of technical sophisticationβfrom strong SMEs to business teams needing guidance in translating grant program requirements into system features. The ideal candidate can bridge this gap while maintaining our unified community architecture across all grant programs.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Turn product vision into actionable strategies supported by business and IT management.
β’ Analyze and interpret technical information, including industry standards, statutes, administrative rules, procedures, and system documentation.
β’ Translate user/business needs into technical requirements.
β’ Communicate technical instructions to system users.
β’ Exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
β’ Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
β’ Conduct in-depth interviews with Business SMEs, Product Manager, and stakeholders to understand business processes and problems.
β’ Identify process improvement opportunities via automation.
β’ Partner with business SMEs and agile teams to gather requirements and build product road maps.
β’ Participate in research for new features and functionalities.
β’ Create product backlog with themes, epics, and user stories.
β’ Accept work built by scrum teams and determine if product is shippable.
β’ Attend sprint ceremonies and collaborate with development teams.
β’ Participate in all phases of SDLC.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Must be able to:
β’ Work with Business Customers, Section Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Developers, and SMEs in a professional and collaborative manner.
β’ Lead requirements discovery, process mapping, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.
β’ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on prioritization and feature development while adhering to architectural, accessibility, and security standards.
β’ Partner with scrum master, project manager, tech lead, section managers, and executive teams to identify key capabilities and potential issues.
β’ Manage the backlog with IT project team, ensuring timely deliverables that meet customer expectations.
β’ Analyze application performance for health and improvement.
