Job#: 3021021 Job Description: Job Role: Business Analyst Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract Role Location: Newark, DE 19711 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) Job Description Loss Forecasting and Strategy Validation functional area within CCA Operation Enablement organization is looking for an energetic, analytical and detailed oriented strategy validation analyst. The Operation Enablement organization plays a critical role in successfully providing credit assistance to our clients and mitigating potential credit losses. Collections and recovery strategies and their performance is critical to the success of our business. Monitoring, tracking and assessing the performance of our strategies is an important part of our process to ensure adherence to Decision Strategy Governance requirements. Additionally, the team is responsible for design and execution of Quality Assurance routines for Strategy Decision Engine Initiatives and other key strategic processes within CCA. This role is responsible for creating, track, and monitor strategy performance metrics monthly. Organize and lead performance discussions with strategy analysts, strategy owners, and other stakeholders. Conduct analyses to ascertain key drivers of trends and provide business insights. Specific responsibilities include: • Generate monthly monitoring and tracking (M&T) reports for strategies and perform analyses related to strategy performance • Develop and maintain complex SAS queries to extract, transform and manipulate data from various sources including Teradata, ReportNet, Oracle, etc. • Develop new SAS or SQL programs for strategy validations and quality assurance testing, and identify opportunities to improve existing validation/QA via programming code • Complete daily validation campaigns prior to execution • Design and execute test plan, requirement traceability matrix and test scripts based on business requirements provided by change owner • Effectively communicate defects to partners to mitigate risk prior to campaign deployment or implementation within Strategy Decision Engine • Partner with strategy execution & analytics for quality assurance testing & decision strategy governance assessments Required Skills: • 4+ years of experience demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, including attention to detail • Proficiency in advanced SAS coding techniques, including data manipulation, macro programming, and statistical analysis • Experience working with large amount of data and the applicable tools • Excellent Communication skills (verbal & written) • Working knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical, adhering to production standards and SLAs • Must have exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills • Strong ability to work with people across multiple functional areas • Strong analytical and problem solving skills EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
