Business Analyst, LoanIQ
Global Banking Organisation, London based
£750 per day inside IR35, 6 month initial contract
We are partnering with a leading global banking organisation undertaking a major multi-year finance transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Senior LoanIQ Business Analyst to join a high-profile strategic initiative.
This programme covers key transformation areas including IFRS transition, sub-ledger implementation, reporting period alignment, and process/control enhancement. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and reliable LoanIQ data integration across finance and downstream reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the SME for LoanIQ within a large-scale finance transformation programme.
• Engage with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology, and Data teams to gather and define business and interface requirements.
• Analyse LoanIQ data structures, workflows, and integration points across the lending lifecycle.
• Define and document source-to-target mappings for downstream consumers including sub-ledgers, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data extraction, reconciliation, validation, and analysis.
• Support interface design including transformation logic, reconciliation controls, exception handling, and operational procedures.
• Map current and future-state lending processes including drawdowns, repricing, rollovers, fees, and trading events.
• Support SIT/UAT phases including test planning, execution, defect management, and governance sign-off.
• Contribute to data migration, historical backfill, and cutover activities.
• Provide RAID management, status reporting, and transition support to BAU teams.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong hands-on experience working as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst on LoanIQ projects is essential.
• Excellent understanding of loan servicing, guarantees/SBLCs, syndicated lending, and collateral accounting.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities including reconciliations, data quality validation, and complex mappings.
• Experience working on finance transformation programmes, ideally involving IFRS, sub-ledger implementations, or regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Proven experience producing BRDs, functional specifications, mapping documents, test packs, and interface documentation.
• Strong understanding of lending products including corporate, syndicated, and project finance.
• Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Ability to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including Technology, Finance, Operations, Product Control, and third-party vendors.
