Business Analyst **LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY**

DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC. • This position is onsite • • LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY • • Responsibilities: • Perform accessibility testing on websites, web applications, and digital documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Evaluate compliance with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA standards. • Use manual and automated testing tools, including assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, ZoomText, NVDA). • Document findings and provide clear, actionable remediation guidance. • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to resolve accessibility issues. • Assist with code-level remediation of accessibility defects when applicable. • Remediate and convert digital documents into accessible formats. • Promote accessibility best practices and support integration of accessibility into the software development lifecycle. • Maintain documentation and compliance reports. • Stay current with evolving accessibility laws, standards, and technologies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • Experience in public sector or regulated environments. • Experience remediating PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, or Accessibility Insights. • Strong understanding of digital accessibility standards and best practices. • Ability to analyze complex systems and identify compliance gaps. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inclusive design. Required Skills: • 3 Years - Demonstrated experience working with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 standards • 3 Years - Demonstrated experience in digital accessibility testing and remediation. • 3 Years - Experience testing with assistive technologies such as JAWS, ZoomText, or NVDA • 3 Years - HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript sufficient to support accessibility remediation efforts. • 3 Years - ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA standards • 3 Years - Accessibility testing on websites, web applications, and digital documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint • 3 Years - Use manual and automated testing tools, including assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, ZoomText, NVDA). • 3 Years - Code-level remediation of accessibility defects when applicable • 3 Years - Remediate and convert digital documents into accessible formats Desired Skill: • Professional certification such as CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) or WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist). This position is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
