Business Analyst Alternate/Related Job Titles: • Program Analyst • Operations Analyst • Data Analyst • Process Improvement Analyst • Strategy Analyst Location: Oakland, CAOnsite Flexibility: Remote Contract Details (Contract roles only): • Position Type: Contract • Contract Duration: 6 months • Start: As Soon As Possible • Pay Rate: $55 - 60/hr Job Summary: The Business Analyst supports operational execution and process implementation for electrification programs aimed at advancing decarbonization initiatives. This role focuses on program coordination, data insights, and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and drive strategic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the operational pipeline of electrification opportunities across multiple infrastructure portfolios • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on feasibility, infrastructure constraints, cost effectiveness, and readiness • Support cross-functional coordination across project stages including intake, feasibility, assessment, and execution planning • Assist in developing and improving operational frameworks, workflows, and tracking mechanisms • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational bottlenecks • Maintain and update program documentation and knowledge management systems • Update centralized trackers, SharePoint repositories, and dashboards to reflect program progress • Design and enhance Power BI dashboards for program performance visibility • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems • Maintain structured digital environments to support operational transparency • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workflows and governance structures Required Experience: • Experience in business analysis, program management, or operations support • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience working with cross-functional teams • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Nice-to-Have Experience: • Experience with electrification or energy programs • Familiarity with infrastructure or utility-related projects Required Skills: • Data analysis and reporting • Process improvement and workflow optimization • Cross-functional coordination Preferred Skills: • Power BI dashboard development • SharePoint and data management systems • Program portfolio management • Strategic planning and evaluation Additional Skills: • Experience with centralized tracking systems and operational dashboards • Knowledge of feasibility analysis and infrastructure constraints • Strong documentation and knowledge management capabilities • Ability to support governance structures and program optimization • Understanding of electrification initiatives and decarbonization goals Benefits: • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans • 401k Retirement Fund About the Client: Global energy and infrastructure organization focused on advancing electrification initiatives and long-term decarbonization strategies through innovative program development and operational excellence.
