You’ll be responsible for translating business needs into clear technical requirements for software engineers. This role supports both the enhancement of current products and the development of new solutions.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product and project leads to uncover deeper business needs and help shape clear, actionable requirements.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to define problems and align on potential solutions.
• Handle straightforward technical and business challenges with practical, well-defined approaches.
• Assist in scoping projects and estimating effort required to meet business objectives.
• Develop and maintain user stories, epics, and feature documentation.
• Act as a bridge between product teams and software engineering to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Analyse business inputs to determine technical requirements and system impact.
• Help transform high-level requirements into practical delivery milestones.
• Work closely with engineering and systems teams to refine and break down user stories into manageable tasks.
• Improve consistency and structure of JIRA artefacts, templates, and workflows.
• Contribute to user-facing documentation, including manuals and support guides.
About You
You’re an experienced business analyst with a strong ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups, balancing competing priorities and perspectives to reach clear, shared outcomes. You excel at breaking down complex requirements into meaningful, deliverable components.
You bring:
• Solid background working on cross-functional, large-scale initiatives.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering and fostering effective partnerships with product teams.
• Ability to communicate confidently across disciplines — from engineers to data scientists to DevOps professionals.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and hands-on use of tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience in backlog grooming, prioritisation, and test case preparation.
• Understanding of backend systems, APIs, and low-latency environments.
• Awareness of how end users interact with front-end applications.
• Experience supporting product or program launches in multi-market or global settings.
• A focus on using technology to solve business problems.
• (Optional) Knowledge of domains such as payments, fraud prevention, AML, or machine learning.
