We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in Labor Analytics reporting that will drive strategic decision making and operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decision-making across labor and financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of labor metrics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support organizational and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Data Analysis and Insights: - Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies in labor and financial reporting. Collaborate with business leaders to ensure insights align with organizational and project goals.
β’ Curiosity & Critical Thinking: - Demonstrate a natural curiosity and a drive to ask thought-provoking questions that challenge assumptions and uncover deeper insights. Proactively explore data to identify patterns and connections others might miss.
β’ Stakeholder Collaboration: - Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations leaders to ensure insights are aligned with strategic goals. Integrate feedback from cross-functional teams as needed.
β’ Data Storytelling: - Craft compelling narratives from data to help stakeholders understand the βwhyβ behind the numbers. Present insights in a clear, engaging manner that drives action and aligns with strategic goals.
Qualifications:
β’ Education: Bachelorβs degree Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field. Experience:
β’ 3+ years of proven experience as a business analyst, ideally with a focus on HR, labor, and financial reporting.
β’ Strong understanding of financial concepts, labor metrics, and business operations.
β’ Technical Skills: - Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Qlik, or related tools.
β’ Familiarity with financial and labor management systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP). - Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and integrating various data sources is preferred, but not necessary.
β’ Preferred Attributes: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
β’ A natural storyteller with the ability to make data meaningful and memorable.
β’ Inquisitive mindset with a passion for asking the right questions and exploring data from multiple angles.
β’ Ability to manage and analyze large, complex data sets with accuracy and efficiency.
