🚨 Hiring: Business Analyst – Manufacturing Operations (Medical Device Manufacturing) 📍 Location: Irvine, CA (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week) 📅 Duration: 18+ Months Contract We are seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst – Manufacturing Operations to support a leading medical device manufacturing organization. In this role, you will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams to transform manufacturing data into actionable insights, improve operational performance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, leveraging SAP ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to analyze production performance, inventory, quality metrics, and operational KPIs while developing executive dashboards and reports. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Analyze manufacturing, production, inventory, and supply chain data to identify trends and drive operational improvements. ✔ Extract, validate, and interpret data from SAP ERP, Siemens MES, and reporting databases. ✔ Develop executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and automated reports using Power BI, SQL, and Excel. ✔ Monitor key manufacturing metrics including Inventory Accuracy, Production Throughput, Cycle Time, First Pass Yield (FPY), Capacity Utilization, Schedule Adherence, Material Consumption, PPV, Scrap, and Work Order Performance. ✔ Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and data-driven recommendations. ✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management, production planning, and manufacturing efficiency. ✔ Present analytical findings and business insights to plant leadership and senior management. Required Qualifications: ✅ 3–7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Analytics, Operations Analysis, Supply Chain Analytics, or Manufacturing Planning. ✅ Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or other FDA-regulated manufacturing environments. ✅ Strong hands-on experience with SAP ERP (MM, PP, WM/EWM, Inventory Management, CO). ✅ Experience working with Siemens MES (Opcenter, SIMATIC IT, or Camstar preferred). ✅ Advanced Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables). ✅ Strong knowledge of Manufacturing KPIs, Inventory Management, Production Planning, and Supply Chain Operations. ✅ Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
