Business Analyst – MMIS/Medicaid -Medicaid claims and provider operations - MUST BE LOCAL Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) – Columbia, SC (Columbia, SC 29201) Duration: Contract STATE GOVERNMENT EXP IS A MUST Job Description: We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in MMIS and Medicaid operations to support legacy system initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Medicaid claims, provider operations, and eligibility/enrollment systems, along with strong analytical and stakeholder collaboration skills. Required Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or healthcare field (or 10+ years equivalent experience) • 10+ years of experience supporting MMIS Legacy system projects as a Business Analyst or similar role • Understanding of MMIS capabilities and operational workflows • 10+ years of experience with Medicaid claims and provider operations • 10+ years of experience working with Medicaid eligibility and/or enrollment systems in an operations capacity • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Jira, Footprints, and SharePoint Preferred Qualifications: • Subject Matter Expertise in MMIS Operations • Experience with data analysis tools such as SAS, advanced Excel, data visualization tools, or statistical software • Strong analytical and documentation skills • Experience working in healthcare or government environments Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Columbia, SC).
