Business Analyst Mobile Applications Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: Long-Term Contract Job Summary STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Business Analyst on behalf of our client in Jersey City, NJ. We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst with experience supporting mobile application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile environments, requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and mobile technology projects across iOS and Android platforms. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for mobile application projects. • Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables. • Create user stories, workflows, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria. • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups. • Translate business needs into clear technical and functional specifications. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. • Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance processes. • Maintain project documentation using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst. • At least 2 years of experience working on mobile application development projects. • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Experience with requirements gathering, business process modeling, and documentation. • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Visio. • Familiarity with mobile technologies including iOS, Android, APIs, and push notifications. • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in enterprise or financial services environments. • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
