Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities: Competent and experienced Business Analyst, uses own initiative and self-starter Standard BA core competencies Elicit, define, and manage requirements from multiple business SMEs Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA/Confluence Support SharePoint structure and migration activities, including metadata and workflow definition Translate manual processes into digital SharePoint workflows using Power Platform Conduct AS IS / TO BE process mapping and gap analysis Define Minimum Viable Product (MVP) where required Drive benefits realisation and value definition across assigned initiatives Engage stakeholders across multiple business areas – stakeholder engagement/management Adherence to SWS governance standards Essential Skills & Experience: Strong delivery background in both Agile and Waterfall environments JIRA & Confluence proficiency End-to-end requirements gathering, process modelling, stakeholder management, and user journey mapping Demonstrable experience working on large-scale programmes Experience working in a regulated industry, ideally within Water or Wastewater utilities Desirable: Previous Southern Water or water/wastewater utility experience Understanding of Enterprise Asset Management, ideally with IBM Maximo. Prior experience in SharePoint migrations, with knowledge of data structures, integration, and workflows Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 6 months Pay: £400.00-£480.00 per day Experience: Enterprise Asset Management (: 3 years (required) /wastewater utility : 2 years (required)
