Business Analyst

· Job Title: Business Analyst · Location: Swansea, UK (3 days WFO) · Duration: 6 months (Inside IR35) Security Clearance • Active SC Clearance – Nice to Have (Not Mandatory) • Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance • Typically requires 5 years UK residency Key Responsibilities • Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements • Work with stakeholders to define business processes and workflows • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria • Support Agile delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement sessions • Perform gap analysis and impact assessments • Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements • Maintain project documentation (BRD, FRD, process maps, etc.) Mandatory Skills • Proven experience as a Business Analyst (5–10+ years) • Strong skills in: • Requirements gathering & documentation • Stakeholder management • Process mapping (BPMN / UML / Visio) • Experience working in: • Agile / Scrum environments • Familiarity with tools: • JIRA, Confluence, MS Office suite • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication (written & verbal) Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience working in: • UK Government / Public Sector / Defence projects • Exposure to Security Cleared (SC/DV) environments • Understanding of: • GDPR / ISO 27001 / data protection standards • Experience with: • Data analysis tools (SQL, Excel advanced, Power BI) • Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS / Azure) • Familiarity with DevOps / DevSecOps delivery models • Certifications: • BCS / CBAP / Agile (CSM, SAFe) Qualifications • Degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Relevant BA or Agile certifications preferred
