Banloch consultants assist clients with the development and execution of change across their delivery systems supporting enrollment, billing, claims, member/provider services, fulfillment, care management, pharmacy and risk adjustment operations. We enhance existing client teams and fill critical resource and knowledge gaps necessary to successfully implement organizational, technological and process changes within commercial and managed care lines of business.
Role Description:
This is a contract-to-hire, 100% remote position as a Business Analyst supporting health plan operations for a Fortune 500 health care company. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and providing data-driven insights to stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include identifying ways to enhance operational processes, creation of operational and strategic reporting, performance tracking and formulation of data driven recommendations, and assisting with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures, The role requires the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, effective communication and coordinating solutions delivery across multiple business units.
General Qualifications
• 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, Knowledge of risk adjustment concepts and operations a plus.
• 2-3 years project management experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using various business applications for data extraction, reporting, and dashboard creation.
• Knowledge of data migration, software enhancement/planning, and Agile preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., RStudio, Python) is a plus
