Your Role & Responsibilities
Business & Systems Analysis
Support QA leads by contributing to Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) artifacts
Develop Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) outlining functional and non-functional needs
Facilitate requirement‑gathering sessions with business users and stakeholders
Create wireframes to support solution design and requirement clarity
Document current state and future state process flows
Translate business needs into system requirements and improvements
Perform ROI and cost-benefit analyses for system decisions
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and redundancies and recommend improvement
Support vendor management, contract renewals, and system lifecycle activities
Create training materials, user documentation, and system guides
Agile / Product Ownership
Collaborate closely with development and QA teams within an Agile environment
Support or step into Product Owner responsibilities when needed (user stories, backlog prioritization, feature definition)
Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, planning, refinements, reviews, and retrospectives
Work with stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure business value delivery
System Maintenance & Enhancements
Review, test, and implement vendor-delivered system enhancements and upgrades
Maintain configuration tables, permissions, and security structures
Support validation, testing, and documentation of system modifications
Ensure proper integration between related applications
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues after deployment
Reporting & Data Management
Extract, manipulate, and analyze data to support reporting and decision-making
Create custom queries and reusable datasets
Integrate system data with reporting tools for automation and improved reporting efficiency
Train users on reporting tools and data processes
Leadership & Collaboration
Provide guidance to stakeholders and junior analysts
Lead interdepartmental initiatives and cross-functional projects
Manage project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and timelines
Collaborate with vendors; review deliverables for quality and accuracy
Train end users on system updates and enhancements
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
Experience performing configurations, modifications, or enhancements in enterprise business applications
Strong skills in requirement gathering, documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder facilitation
Experience working in Agile environments
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general data analysis
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Bonus Points If You Have
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s may substitute two years of experience)
Experience with SaaS implementations, HRIS, or enterprise systems like PeopleSoft
Experience in large transformation programs or transit-related initiatives
IIBA Certification
Experience with Power BI dashboards
Familiarity with Miro, Mural, Microsoft Whiteboard, or similar tools
Understanding of budgeting, procurement, HR, or finance processes
Experience with SQL queries or reporting tools
Strong soft skills and emotional intelligence
Education & Certifications You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, MIS, Economics, or a related field
Master’s degree may substitute two years of required experience
Professional certifications such as IIBA are a plus
