Business Analyst • Location: Bothell, WA • Schedule: Hybrid (2 days onsite) • Pay: $50-$60/hr • Contract: 12 month contract Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of business analytics experience, preferably in construction or utilities • Strong understanding of permitting processes, right-of-way requirements, and interpretation of construction/utility drawings • Proficiency with SAP for financial tracking and work order management • Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently Job Description We are seeking a Business Analyst to join one of the largest gas and electric utility providers in Washington. In this role, you will support operational and financial tracking for field activities and ensure accurate work order management. Key Responsibilities: • Track and manage financial data using SAP and Excel • Monitor and push work orders to the field, ensuring timely execution • Review and interpret permitting requirements, right-of-way documentation, and utility drawings to prioritize field visits • Coordinate scheduling for meter exchanges and other field activities • Collaborate with analysts and contractors to ensure accurate work assignment and compliance • Track and manage notices of disconnection and related documentation • Generate reports and dashboards using Power BI to support decision-making
