Business Analyst – Financial Reporting & SAP BPC Job Type: Contract Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, Standard Business Hours Work Arrangement: 100% Remote Position Overview We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong financial reporting and SAP BPC experience to support enterprise financial systems, reporting processes, and business transformation initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to improve reporting processes, support financial planning and consolidation activities, resolve system issues, and help enhance financial reporting solutions. This is a great opportunity for a Business Analyst who understands both financial operations and technology solutions and enjoys working with cross-functional teams to improve business processes. Key Responsibilities • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to support financial reporting and consolidation processes • Analyze business needs and translate requirements into system enhancements • Troubleshoot reporting, data, and application-related issues • Support monthly financial close, budgeting, and forecasting activities • Create, update, and improve financial reports and reporting processes • Gather, document, and manage business requirements • Develop functional specifications and support solution design • Perform testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities • Support financial data accuracy, governance, and compliance initiatives • Assist with financial system improvements and reporting modernization efforts • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field • 6+ years of Business Analyst experience • Hands-on experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) • Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial close cycles • Experience gathering requirements and supporting system enhancements • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance and IT stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SAP S/4HANA • Experience with SAP Group Reporting • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) • Experience with OneStream or Hyperion • Background in accounting, financial reporting, or controllership functions Why Consider This Opportunity? • Fully remote contract opportunity • Work on high-impact financial reporting and technology initiatives • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT professionals • Opportunity to support enterprise-level reporting improvements and modernization efforts Candidates with a combination of financial reporting knowledge, SAP BPC expertise, and business analysis experience are encouraged to apply.
