Role description
Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary liaison between client stakeholders, technical teams, and internal project leadership. Gather, validate, and document business and functional requirements across billing, finance, and operations. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories. Support project planning activities, including scoping, timelines, and deliverables. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and change impact reviews. Deliver end-user training, reference documentation, and system support. Required Qualifications Proficiency in SQL for data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of law firm finance processes (billing, AR/AP, GL, timekeeping). Experience in business analysis: requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and testing. Excellent client-facing skills and professional communication abilities; comfort presenting findings or recommendations to client stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within a consulting/project environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, IT, and vendor teams. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile). Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, ADO). Ability to work independently in remote environments. Nice-to-Haves Experience with Salesforce (reporting, objects, workflows, integrations). Prior consulting experience. Exposure to system migrations, data conversions, or major ERP upgrades.
