Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with deep experience in utilities and IT systems to support asset and work management initiatives. The role will serve as a liaison between IT development and business teams, helping define, implement, and optimize new systems related to Electric Distribution, Substations, and Generation Interconnection projects. Candidates with SAP Work and Asset Management experience are strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
β’ Conduct interviews, site visits, and workshops to define project needs.
β’ Translate business concepts into functional specifications and process diagrams.
β’ Lead or assist with QA activities to ensure software solutions meet business needs.
β’ Participate in software selection, testing, and implementation lifecycles.
β’ Develop standard templates, charts, and documentation for analysis and reporting.
β’ Evaluate and manage business requirements through project life cycles.
β’ Facilitate stakeholder communications and solution presentations.
Required Experience:
β’ 7-10 years as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
β’ Prior experience in utilities or energy sector (preferred).
β’ Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies.
β’ Strong understanding of business/IT applications and requirements modeling.
β’ Experience working with Electric Distribution, Substation, or Transmission systems.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
β’ Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or Business
β’ Experience in Electric Generation Interconnection
β’ Familiarity with JUMP or Joint Pole utility asset platforms
β’ SAP Work and Asset Management (WAM) exposure
β’ Leadership on full-cycle tech solutions or process improvements
