Job Title: Business Analyst (Remote)
Location: Ridgefield, CT (Remote)
Duration: 12+ months
Must be willing to work regular business hours aligned to the EST time zone.
Job Summary:
The Business Analytics role supports multiple customer groups or therapeutic areas by using advanced statistical methods to measure marketing impact and improve decision-making. The role involves marketing mix modeling, ROI analysis, customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and insights to guide promotional and brand strategies in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced analytics for brand planning, marketing mix, and ROI analysis.
Support promotional strategy, field force planning, and digital/non-personal marketing activities.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to align business tactics and strategies.
Ensure analytical insights are clearly communicated and integrated into business plans.
Coordinate data and insights from various functions (marketing research, forecasting, etc.) for comprehensive recommendations.
Maintain strong knowledge of analytical tools, methods, and vendor capabilities.
Skills Required:
Expertise in marketing analytics, resource allocation, and promotional effectiveness.
Strong skills in R, Python, SAS, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with multivariate analysis, digital marketing analytics, and customer profiling.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical data, patient claims data, and CRM databases.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
Experience in Metabolic therapeutic areas such as Cardiorenal Metabolic areas (e.g. Chronic Kidney and Hearth Failure) strongly preferred.
Experience analyzing large, deidentified patient claims data sets strongly preferred.
Prior experience in a large pharmaceutical company strongly preferred.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience:
Bachelorβs degree with 7+ years of analytics experience or Masterβs degree with 5+ years.
