Business Analyst

Title : Business Analyst Job ID: 397086 Rate: $70/hr W2 Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 Schedule: 2x on site per week Type: Contract Duration: 6-12 months, option of extension We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Jira and Confluence, a solid understanding of data and SQL, and the ability to work cross-functionally to gather, analyze, and document requirements. This role involves leading project planning and execution through all phases, monitoring progress, and delivering clear status updates to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements • Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and document project artifacts • Interpret and analyze data using SQL to support business decisions and requirement validation • Lead planning, execution, and implementation of projects across all lifecycle phases • Develop project timelines, define milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery • Provide regular project status updates and insights to management and other stakeholders • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and organizational standards • Work closely with cross-functional technical teams to drive initiatives to completion Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical or data-focused environment • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence • Proficiency in SQL and ability to work with datasets to extract meaningful insights • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams • Need a BA who can navigate registrations/communication/control room or at least have an understanding of one space.
