Business Analyst

Role: Healthcare IT Business Analyst Type: Contract Duration: 12 months Location: Remote Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Healthcare IT Business Analyst to join our team to help with a role based provisioning initiative. This role bridges the gap between healthcare operations and IT by gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and supporting the development and implementation of healthcare information systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with EHR systems, healthcare data standards, and clinical or administrative stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements from stakeholders across clinical, administrative, and IT departments. • Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and propose solutions. • Act as a liaison between end users and technical teams to ensure system solutions meet business needs. • Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements for healthcare processes and systems. • Collaborate in the design, testing, and implementation of provisioning process. • Develop detailed business process models, user stories, and data flow diagrams. • Support data migration, system integration, and report development efforts. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Analysis, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role within a healthcare or health IT environment. • Experience with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech). • Understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT). • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
