Business Analyst – Payments Domain
Location: Dallas, TX (3 days/week WFO)
Experience: 8+ years overall | 5+ years relevant
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
We’re hiring a Lead Business Analyst with strong expertise in product management, requirement elicitation, and payment processing domain knowledge to drive multiple digital products in the financial services space.
This role needs someone who can work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, product managers, and technology teams to define product vision, gather and articulate requirements, and support end-to-end delivery of payment solutions.
What we’re looking for:
• Strong experience in Business Analysis / Product Management
• Expertise in requirement elicitation, solutioning, detailing, and documentation
• Ability to create business flows, mind maps, wireframes, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Strong experience with payment processing, settlements, reconciliation, and financial transactions
• Knowledge of payment gateways, merchant acquiring, card networks (Visa/Mastercard), digital wallets, real-time payments, and cross-border payments
• Experience with platforms like Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, or similar
• Familiarity with TCS BaNCS, GPP, C2P, Volante, or equivalent payment systems is a big plus
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Aha, MIRO, Visio, Figma, draw.io
• Good understanding of API-based payment integrations, SQL, Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of regulations like PCI-DSS, PSD2, AML/KYC is highly valued
Key responsibilities:
• Lead requirement workshops with client SMEs and stakeholders
• Translate product vision into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Analyze payment workflows and identify opportunities for optimization
• Work with UI/UX teams to improve feature usability and visualization
• Partner with engineering teams during grooming, sprint planning, design, testing, and implementation
• Track payment KPIs, transaction performance, fraud risks, and compliance requirements
• Act as the bridge between business and technical teams for successful product delivery
