Role description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst for a long-term contract with the possibility of being converted to a direct hire. This role is ideal for a self-starter and strong driver who can work independently and take ownership of initiatives from concept to delivery. The right candidate will have a strong background in digital platforms, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to write clear, detailed user stories that guide development teams and add value to the business.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of goals, scope, and outcomes.
β’ Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed business and functional requirements.
β’ Write clear, complete, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria to support Agile development and QA efforts.
β’ Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives.
β’ Analyze business problems and propose solutions aligned with digital and user experience strategies.
β’ Create and maintain wireframes, process flows, and supporting documentation.
β’ Track and manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
β’ Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure cohesive digital experiences.
β’ Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case development and defect tracking.
β’ Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
β’ 5β8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on digital products or platforms.
β’ Proven experience writing high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
β’ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
β’ Comfortable working independently, driving tasks forward without constant supervision.
β’ Consulting background a plus.
β’ Proficient in Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
β’ Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document complex business needs.
β’ Strong reputation for creativity, flexibility, versatility, and problem solving.
β’ Appetite for being creative and has an ability and/or desire to learn and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related (CSPO, SAFe) are a plus.
