Business Analyst – Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Retail Sector - Global Outstanding opportunity to join this global technology consulting business who specialise in delivering enterprise scale architectures and products specifically for the global retail sector. We’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong Microsoft Power Platform experience and a solid understanding of the retail domain. You’ll play a key role in shaping digital solutions that streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and support our transformation agenda. This role sits at the intersection of business process optimisation and low‑code solution delivery. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and retail operations teams to translate business needs into scalable, data‑driven solutions built on the Power Platform. Key requirements: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within retail or consumer‑facing environments. • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including: Power Apps (Canvas/Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse • Strong understanding of retail processes such as store operations, merchandising, stock management, fulfilment, and customer journeys. • Excellent requirements‑gathering, process‑mapping, and documentation skills. • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. • Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non‑technical teams. • Experience with Dynamics 365 (Commerce, Customer Service, or Finance & Operations). • Knowledge of Azure services and integration patterns. • Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). • Exposure to data modelling or basic SQL. What You’ll Do: • Partner with stakeholders across retail, supply chain, eCommerce, and store operations to capture and refine business requirements. • Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimisation, and improved data visibility. • Design and document functional specifications for Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). • Support solution prototyping, testing, and deployment in collaboration with engineering teams. • Champion best practices for low‑code governance, data integrity, and security. • Facilitate workshops, user story mapping, and process modelling sessions. • Ensure solutions align with broader architectural standards and retail operational needs. £450-£500 per day (OUTSIDE IR35). London & 70% remote. 6 months rolling.
