Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week)
Duration: Long Term Contract

About the Role
CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a skilled Business Analyst – Project Lead to support the modernization and optimization of administrative and financial systems. This role plays a key part in aligning business processes with technical solutions—particularly within the SAP environment—to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity across Human Resources, Finance, and IT functions.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful statewide initiatives that improve public services and strengthen digital infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, ensure regulatory compliance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Analyze HR and administrative business processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Leverage SAP functionalities to optimize workflows and support modernization initiatives.
• Document system requirements, create user guides, SOPs, and process diagrams.
• Conduct system analysis, testing (unit, integration, and UAT), and implementation support.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance departments to ensure system capabilities align with organizational goals.
• Provide training and support for end-users, ensuring proper system adoption and compliance with data security standards.
• Participate in project management activities including scheduling, tracking progress, and creating project status reports.
• Maintain documentation and reporting in accordance with agency IT and security policies.
Required Skills
• 3+ years of experience with HRIS systems.
• 5+ years of experience with state HR/payroll processes, data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, FLSA), and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience creating user guides, SOPs, process diagrams, and technical documentation.
• 5+ years of experience in reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
• Knowledge of information security practices (PII, PHI).
• Prior experience working with State or Federal Government.
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
