Business Analyst - Project Management

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Business Analyst - Project Management. Responsibilities: • Analyze and document current-state mortgage servicing processes and identify opportunities for improvement • Define and maintain detailed business rules and logic to support servicing operations and compliance • Interpret and apply servicing guidelines from agencies such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and servicing teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories • Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments for regulatory and policy changes • Support UAT and validate that product enhancements meet business and regulatory requirements • Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field • 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, product analysis, or a related role • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing guidelines (e.g., GSE, FHA, VA) and regulatory requirements • Experience defining and managing business rules in servicing systems or platforms • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
