Responsibilities
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Provisioning & Activation) in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Business Analyst will lead effective requirement elicitation sessions by ensuring all required stakeholders participate and escalate if needed
β’ Specify inputs and formatting outputs to meet user's needs
β’ Analyze business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and systems
β’ As a Business Analyst, you will provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
β’ Be an active project participant by offering feedback, guidance, and assistance to help meet project delivery dates
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
β’ 4+ years of Business Analysis (BA) or Business Systems Analysis (BSA) experience
β’ Prior experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
β’ Knowledge of applicable systems
β’ Basic understanding of databases and web services
β’ Basic understanding of Network structure and elements, system architecture
β’ Business Analysis Tools (Must Have): MS Visio or similar tool experience is needed; JIRA
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Organizational skills; Coordination of meeting agendas, minutes, and action items
β’ Ability to work with little supervision
β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple project assignments
β’ Ability to independently research topics using available tools like SharePoint and other document repositories
β’ Ability to see the -big picture- and determine how application changes will impact other systems
β’ Ability to recognize up/downstream dependencies
β’ Ability to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders representing all levels of the organization
β’ Ability to create a business process model (diagram) representing current and future processes
β’ The ability to write requirements that are clear, concise, testable and can be interpreted by development teams
Nice To Have
β’ Business Analyst Certification such as ECBA or CCBA
β’ Previous telecommunications experience as an analyst or in a similar role
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
