Mission-Driven Work – Help support public safety through drone-enabled inspections and data-driven decision making during wildfire and PSPS (Public Safety Power Shutoff) events Full Project Lifecycle Involvement – Influence all phases from requirement gathering through UAT coordination and PMO documentation Modern Tools & Technologies – Get hands-on experience with Databricks, SAP, GIS platforms, Unity, and ProjectWise, with exposure to both Waterfall and Agile frameworks Professional Development – Expand your business analysis toolkit, engage with LEAN methodologies, and gain visibility into Scrum and project delivery leadership Collaborative Culture – Work cross-functionally with drone operations, geospatial data teams, architects, and utility operations Your Role & Responsibilities Serve as the main liaison between business teams and technical teams to translate needs into functional and non-functional requirements Elicit, document, and manage comprehensive business and technical requirements using structured interviews, process analysis, and workflow design Maintain traceability of requirements, approvals, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle Create and manage test plans, test cases, and UAT coordination with business stakeholders Support mandatory PMO lifecycle documentation, meeting reporting (DOR/WOR/MOR), and governance processes using LEAN practices Assist in integrating UAS (drone) data into Databricks systems for asset integrity and repair prioritization Document meeting outcomes, decisions, and stakeholder feedback clearly and consistently Work with diverse teams including distribution ops, vegetation management, data analytics, architecture, and external vendor partners Skills & Experience You Should Possess 5+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally in the energy, utilities, or regulated industries Proven ability to gather, manage, and trace requirements through the lifecycle of a project Strong skills in UAT planning, test coordination, and functional documentation Effective communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical groups Experience with Databricks, SAP, Jira, Excel (advanced functions), or GIS-related tools Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile environments and related documentation practices Strong attention to detail and meeting facilitation skills, including agenda preparation and follow-up documentation Bonus Points If You Have: Experience with wildfire mitigation, drone data, GIS, or vegetation management systems Hands-on experience with Unity, ProjectWise, or LEAN methodologies Exposure to PMO reporting, Agile ceremonies, or business analysis certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA Education & Certifications You Need Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field required Certifications in business analysis or project methodology are preferred but not required What We Offer At Trissential, we believe in mission-driven work that delivers real impact.
