Business Analyst

Salary: DOE Description We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Findlay, Ohio. This Contract-to-permanent role involves supporting various business functions by providing accurate and timely data insights to drive decision-making and operational success. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate across departments. Responsibilities • Identify and utilize appropriate data sources to enhance data collection, reporting, and analysis processes. • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) tools, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Collect and document customer requirements to design and deliver tailored reports and solutions. • Validate data accuracy and generate ad hoc reports to meet business needs. • Analyze and model data using statistical tools, supporting database maintenance and development activities. • Translate business needs into measurable requirements for system and application development. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define specifications and recommend effective business solutions. • Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions meet strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations. • Lead cross-functional teams to address business challenges, including user experience and process improvements. • Develop and deliver training materials to support the adoption of best practices and new systems. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent certifications. • 2-5 years of experience working with data and statistical analysis tools such as Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, and Power Query. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL. • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, including Datastage ETL. • Strong understanding of business functions such as marketing, sales, operations, and financial planning. • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization. • Demonstrated project management skills with a focus on meeting critical deadlines and achieving objectives.
