Job Title: Summit Business Analyst
Location: London, UK - Hybrid: 2-3 Days to Office Every Week
Duration: 6 Months
Employment Type: Inside IR35 Contract
Domain: Capital Markets/Investment Banking
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Summit Business Analyst to support regulatory and change initiatives within a Capital Markets / Investment Banking environment. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to deliver solutions across the Summit FT platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
• Work closely with developers, testers, and SMEs across the SDLC lifecycle
• Prepare functional documentation, test cases, and process flows
• Support BAU issues, system improvements, and regulatory change projects
Required Skills
• 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets / Investment Banking
• Strong knowledge of Summit FT (V6 or above) architecture
• Understanding of OTC Trading, Derivatives, Treasury, Forex, and Fixed Income
• Experience with SDLC processes and project delivery
Technical Skills
• Summit modules: Trade Processing, STP, Payments & Settlements, Accounting, Credit Risk, Market Risk
• Knowledge of MetaData, APIs, STK, STP
• SQL, RDBMS (Oracle), XML, Unix commands
• Experience with Summit configuration (Entity, Workflow, Desktop, Environment)
Key Qualities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions
