Business Analyst

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Tallahassee, FL that is seeking a Business Analyst to be a member of the PALM remediation team. They will be expected to work across multiple business units to perform business and detailed systems analysis activities and tasks. The BA will coordinate with subject matter experts to document requirements. They will also develop test plans, perform test/quality assurance activities and closely coordinate with other remediation team members. Responsibilities: • Research and understand business processes and their inter-relationships • Document and diagram business and system processes and dependencies between them • Research and document impacts on agency business systems in relation to the PALM implementation • Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units • Gather and document business and technical requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps and other tools • Manage backlog and work items using Azure DevOps • Coordinate with Development and QA teams • Develop Test Plans and Test Cases • Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts • Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards Requirements • 5+ years of Business Process Analysis and systems analysis • Proficiency in process mapping/modeling with tools such as Visio • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Proficiency in writing SQL Queries and performing Data Analysis • Experience working with Microsoft DevOps is highly desired • Technical experience (programming or operations) working in IBM Mainframe, Distributed, and Cloud computing environments is highly desired • Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 - 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code is desired • Knowledge of data migration is desired • Knowledge of change and release management is desired • Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques is desired • Preference will be given to candidates with agile project experience and use of Azure DevOps to manage user requirements and backlogs The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
