Business Analyst

Title: Business Analyst Location: Houston, Texas Environment: Hybrid Monday-Thursday ONSITE, Friday Remote Pay: $45-$48.50/hour W2 ONLY (No C2C) Duration: 6+ month contract with extensions • • Due to client requirements, US Citizens or Greencard Holders ONLY, NO C2C • • Details: The Senior Business Analyst will identify solutions to meet business needs for internal and external stakeholders within the Consumer Home Energy Customer Success Organization. Reporting to the Cross Functional Projects and Strategy team, this role supports the delivery of projects, products, and enhancements, working in both agile (Scrum/Kanban) and waterfall environments. The ideal candidate is flexible, able to manage multiple priorities, and grows their knowledge in agile and product management. Non-Negotiable Requirements: • Energy Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in an energy industry environment. • Business Analysis Experience: Minimum 5 years analyzing and improving business processes, including system/process improvement efforts. • Tools Expertise: Recent proven experience with Power BI and Visio; proficient in Excel. • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: • Gather, document, and analyze business needs; translate into requirements or user stories. • Assess solutions and recommend fit-for-purpose alternatives. • Map current and future state processes to identify improvements and controls. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery on time and within scope. • Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management. • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide effort estimates for deliverables.
